It's only a tech demo at the moment but it shows the promise of what could happen when developers start linking up Foursquare's API to other technology platforms.

As soon as it gets this easy to check in to places (bars, retail, car showrooms etc) I expect location based check ins and the egocasting broadcasts they will create to skyrocket.
